In high school she focused her interests on artistic endeavours and devoted much of her time to fine arts. As a graduation gift her parents gave her the camera they purchased together when first married. She attended Humber College for Graphic Design but soon became interested in the Photography program after taking darkroom classes at The Living Arts Centre Mississauga. For several years she continued to develop her photography skills while she worked various jobs, including a marketing design position at the University of Toronto Press Inc.

For the past two years she has worked as an assistant for Mississauga wedding photographer Melanie Webster. She is currently developing her personal style prefering haunting landscapes and provocative portraits.
